Knee

The most common causes of knee pain are:

Injury:Ligament damage, meniscus tear, bone fracture, or knee contusion can cause acute pain in the knee.

Osteoarthritis:This is a chronic condition that leads to the wearing down of joint cartilage. Pain with osteoarthritis usually occurs during knee movement and may be accompanied by joint cracking or clicking.

Inflammation: Joint inflammation, such as rheumatoid arthritis or gout, can cause pain and swelling in the knee.

Cartilage pathology: Various conditions, such as cartilage destruction or damage, can also be a cause of knee pain.

Tendonitis: Inflammation of the tendons around the knee can cause discomfort and pain.

IMPORTANT!

If you have knee pain, it is recommended to consult an orthopedic surgeon or a rehabilitation specialist to obtain an accurate diagnosis and receive appropriate treatment. The doctor will be able to perform a physical examination, ask questions about the nature and intensity of the pain, and, if necessary, order additional tests such as X-rays, MRI, or blood tests to identify the cause of the knee pain and determine the most effective treatment.
